My Goals, Great and Small

Eighteen years have gone by in a flash, and many more lie ahead of me. My name is Chelsea Thompson, I am a graduate of Bluefield High School, and I want to become a graphic artist for the one, the only, Disney Company.

I plan to move to Concord University's campus, stay there for four years, then graduate with my degree in Graphic Design. Ever since I was little, it's been my dream to somehow be linked with the great Walt Disney. I have always admired his work back in the day, from 'The Lion King' to 'Pirates of the Caribbean'. Disney has always been a huge inspiration to me in my art, my perspective, and my view on things.

Recently, I've been told I can sign up for an internship with Marvel Comics. If I do get the job, I will get flown out to New York City to work with them. That will make me a few steps shorter to my dream.

Soon after college, I plan to bewed my beloved other, Jacob McPherson. I hope to live in a little ranch house, own a few horses and goats, and raise a family of three children. I also hope to be a staty at home mom, being able to work for Disney at home with my family.

After my children have grown up into their teen years, I plan to move to Florida so I may be closer to my work and passion. I would love to introduce them to the magic that Disney gives out to the world. I want them to see why their mother has such a urge for what she does.
Although I will miss my family, I plan to support them with any extra money I make in the buisness.

I've thought long and hard about what I want my life to be. However, it may not work out. And if that's the case, then I'm just along for the ride on this rollercoaster called life.
And that, my friends, is my goal in life.
